Will the "TRUE" Christians Please Stand-Our Youth Are Hurting!

Terrorism! Wars! Rumors of Wars! Floods, Hurricanes, and Natural Disasters! Aids, Aids Virus, West Niles Disease and the Bird Flu. Leaders holding public offices void of character, integrity, and/or moral absolutes. Inner-city youth's murder counts rivaling that of American heroes fighting in the Iraqi war for our freedom. "Oprah and friends" teaching on a “New Age Christ" not realizing or wanting to admit that God, the author and finisher of our lives is the same yesterday, today, and always- NEVER changing! Christ is the only constant in a world that consistently chooses to go its own way in an attempt to satisfy itching ears with subjective experiences rather than objective truths from the "word" of God. Wait a minute these are "so-called" Christian adults. Can the "TRUE" Christians PLEASE STAND UP? You know those of us bearing the “stripes” of Christ. The bold, uncompromising, unashamed Christians willing to speak the “truth” to a world that chooses to live in the darkness of sin rather than in the freedom of Christ. The “One” who sacrificed His life on the cross for a world that continues to reject the “grace” of His love. Christians we are living in a time when people are groping for the truth of the gospel while we continue to live as “worldly” Christians, praising God on Sunday and disengaged from the “happenings” of the world, Monday through Saturday. The sin of omission is just as bad as the sin of commission. To a “Holy God” sin is sin. Let us stand on our conviction of the truth of God’s word rather than the world’s preference that we be seen, but not heard. If not for us, than for the generation of youth who are being murdered, having children out of wedlock, going to jail, while living through an educational genocide that threatens to set youth back far beyond the years of those before them who fought and died for the rights they without shame take for granted today. Who will be the voice for a lost generation searching for truth, searching for an identity, searching for love; if not the Christians, than who? Do we not hear the cries of “Rachel” and for her children refusing to be comforted by a world that continuously feeds them falsehoods? Violence, gang affiliation, murder, teenage pregnancy, premarital sex, drugs, alcohol abuse, and identity crisis’ are outward manifestations of an inward pain that can only be comforted by the “word” of God. Christians have we lost our salt or are we too busy living a compromised life as carnal Christians believing that God’s word is no longer relevant? As we walk in the “fullness” of Christ watch, our youth spirits’ quicken and hearts transformed. For God’s word is the only transformational word that cuts through our “mess” rightly dividing truths from lies. Christ is the giver of life. There is no one greater! God is the “One” that can breathe the breath of life back into the spirit of our youth giving them an identity in HIM! Does God not state, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. [2 Corinthians 7:15] Christians our youth need healing. It is time for the “TRUE” Christians, sold out to the truth of God’s word; knowing that His word does not return to Him void, to stop “playing” Christians, wake-up and press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of us. [Philippians 3:12] God saved us not for ourselves. Rather, so we can tell others about our Jesus and His redeeming qualities in order that they too can be, saved. Our identity is therefore, in Him and a part from Him, we can do nothing {John: 15:5). Christ is the “One” who holds the “copyright” on Human Design. Does it not make sense that we live as “epistles” personifying the truth of God’s word to our youth? Should they not be aware that God loves them so much that He sacrificed His only begotten Son so that they do not have to be slaves to sin; that they are now free to choose life (Christ) over death (Satan)? Oh, Christians, if this generation of youth only knew that they are created in the image of a great, holy, righteous, creative and loving God who knows their pain, their desires and dreams because He placed them in their hearts before the foundation of this world. How will they know of this, if as Christians we do not exemplify Christ in our thoughts, deeds, or lifestyles? We are to love those things Christ loves and hate those things Christ hates! ALL sin is sin without exception, even the sin of doing nothing when we are called to do something. Christians, it is time for us to stand against sin by standing for righteousness, teaching our youth how to live a life in Christ according to His design fulfilling the purpose for which they were created-to use their lives to glorify God, the one who created them. Will the “TRUE” Christians "man" their “POST?”
