This is a wonderful time to be a part of the kingdom of God-Party of Christ-Agenda, the Messiah! Christians throughout these United States of America have a wonderful opportunity to let the world see clearly that we are about our Father’s business (Luke 2:49 Amp), the truth of scripture and the power thereof (Mat 22:29 NIV)
While the world is concerned about global warming, gas prices, economic downfalls, and billion dollar mismanagement bailouts Christians, who are not of this world (Hebrews 13:13 MSG) answers to these “soul stretches” are the words from the Father, “Seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Mat 6:33 NIV). Hallelujah, putting the government on His shoulders (Isaiah 9:6 NIV)-a sovereign God allowing Christians to focus on what God sent His Son to earth . . . REDEMPTION!
Christians must decide whose history we wish to be a part. We serve a holy righteous Father who will not be mocked. A God who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for their evil . . . sexual immorality and sacrificing babies. Christians have been delivered from Egypt (the world) to a kingdom filled with milk and honey (kingdom of God). Nonetheless, like the old testament God’s “chosen people” murmured and complained, “Were we taken out of Egypt to die here in the wilderness?” The same can be said for Christians, the new testament “chosen people” who have been so indoctrinated in the world’s culture that like the Jews were blinded for their disobedience, so too are many Christians blinded because of their disobedience. Believe it or not the church is under judgment, God is separating the wheat from the tear strategically placing those incarnated saints who are committed to doing the will of God-undefiled, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19), at post in preparation for the “transfer” (next blog discussion)
God did not send Jesus to die on the cross for economics, global warming, war, education outside of the bible, etc. Rather, God sent Jesus to reconcile the world back to Himself knowing that if man were redeemed the land would be healed and all those things that man’s carnal mind lusts would be added back to them (2 Cor 7:14)
Although, it is tempting as a Christian of color, knowing what our earthly ancestors fought and gave their life, to vote for Barack Obama, a man of color, articulate, unifier, smooth talker, and the like, there is no such distinction in the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:13). Therefore, we must look beyond making world history to align ourselves with ensuring biblical history is made; a history that does not begin with those who fought against slavery and civil rights, for non of these men or women created the world, created man, died on the cross and resurrected 3-days later so humankind could be reconciled to God the Creator for His purpose: 1) to glorify God (Isa 43:7) and 2) the Great Commission (Mat 28)
Jesus said Himself, in this world we will have tribulations but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (John 6:33 AMP). Therefore, as incarnated Christians we must focus on what God would have us do, step out from under our natural mind into the realm of our spiritual mind and pray the will of the Father be done during these historic elections, for this is the true believer’s cry (Hebrews 10:39). In doing so, it is virtually impossible to be “liberal” giving rights to man disregarding the fact that our life is no longer our own, we have been bought with a price having subjected our will to the will of the Father (1 Cor 7:23); giving us the responsibility for casting a biblical informed vote. Hence, going beyond the natural mind, beyond “itching ears” to looking at both presidential candidates’ voting records, knowing that out of the abundance of your heart your mouth speaks (Luke 6:45 AMP) and casting an informed ballot. Mayo Angelou states it this way, “If a person shows you who they are . . . believe them. Moreover, everyone who waves the Christian banner is not always a transformed believer. That is why we judge according to their fruit harvested (Mat 7:16 NIV) convinced that everyone who speaks “Christianmese” is of God-even the enemy knows the word. (Mat 7:21 MSG).
Ultimately, we have to vote our conscious. However, our conscious should not be permeated with natural mindedness rather spiritual principles. Here is some seed for thought . . .
Excerpts from Joni Lamb interview with David Bartner (Daystar Television) as recorded by Bridgette Chapman.
Believers’ voting mandate is not he same as the world. Therefore, the Party of Christ-Agenda, the Messiah platform should reflect the following . . .
Christian Platform
ᴼ Sanctity of . . .
Life
If, a man can violate God’s life law, he will violate all His laws!
Jeremiah 1:5(MSG)
Marriage
God created and ordained the family, man for woman; to be fruitful and multiply.
Genesis 2: 20-24(MSG)
ᴼ Judges . . .
Righteousness exalts a nation.
Notwithstanding, the President’s tenure last 2-terms while the Supreme and Federal Courts’ judges tenure lasts a lifetime. Before 1 Samuel God appointed righteous judges over His people. As, the people cried for a King to be like the nations surrounding them, God’s permissive will gave them what they wanted warning of the potential wickedness of Kings; yet Samuel continued to advise the King until his death. The judges rule the land. Therefore, we need to examine the records of the candidates regarding their voting pattern when in comes to the present judges. There will be at least two seats vacant of which the new president much select new judges. If, they candidate has voted against the “Christian Platform” in the past-he will do it again as president of the USA.
1 Samuel
ᴼ Sovereignty . . .
Abrahamic Covenant
Numbers 24:3
ᴼ Stewardship
Christians are mandated to vote. As God, had no use for the man with one talent who did nothing with it, so shall it will be likened for Christians who do not exercise their right to vote.
Matthew 25:14-28(MSG)
